Complete Drain Services Solutions

Every drain in your home or business works hard every day. Over time, grease, soap, hair, and food scraps build up inside the pipes. In Portland’s older neighborhoods, tree roots invade drain lines and corroded cast iron pipes catch debris. When these problems happen, you need a team that clears them right the first time.

We offer full-service drain solutions for residential and commercial properties. Our technicians use drain camera inspections and other advanced tools to see exactly what is happening inside your lines. That means accurate diagnoses, honest pricing, and no surprises before we start any work.

Healthy drains protect your property and your routine. A backed-up drain can damage floors, cabinets, and belongings, and standing wastewater creates health hazards. Regular drain cleaning and prompt clearing prevent these costly emergencies.

Whether you need a quick clog removal or main line work, we have the skills and equipment to handle it. Our team stays current on the latest methods and technology. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your day, and we stand behind our work with strong warranties.

Complete Drain Services

Drain Cleaning

Grease, soap, and food buildup slowly choke your drains. Our professional drain cleaning scours the inside of your pipes to remove buildup and restore full flow. Regular cleaning prevents emergency clogs and extends the life of your drain lines.

Drain Clearing

When a drain stops completely, you need fast clearing. We power through tough blockages in sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, and main lines with professional-grade augers. Most clogs are cleared in a single visit.

Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to blast away stubborn clogs and buildup. This powerful cleaning method removes grease, roots, scale, and debris from pipe walls. It restores full flow and keeps drains clear longer than snaking alone.

Drain Camera Inspection

See exactly what is happening inside your drain lines with video inspection. We feed a small camera through your pipes to find clogs, roots, cracks, and bellies. You get accurate answers with no guesswork and no unnecessary digging.

Garbage Disposal Services

A jammed or leaking disposal can shut down your kitchen. We repair and replace garbage disposals of all makes and sizes. Our team also clears the drain line beyond the unit so clogs do not come right back.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great work! Just bought a new home and there was a small leak in the toilet. He went to fix it and saw the previous owners had masked a much bigger problem and we had to replace the toilet. He helped us get that done super quick and now we have a perfectly working toilet! Appreciate you Brandon!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My experience with Plumbing and Sewer Renewal Specialists has been great! Kamyrn was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful during the estimating process. I have a construction background and often when speaking with vendors I am talked down to, and I never felt that with Kamryn.

On the day of the work, the team was delayed by issues on their previous job of the day, but once they started working, they were impressive. Taylor and Sammy cam first to dig out the bad sewer line, and Joel arrived later to lead the plumbing, and everyone was professional, kind, conscientious of space, and did amazing work. And even though it was Friday and they had been working all day, they stayed until nearly 8pm to make sure we had working water for the weekend. These guys were great!

Common Drain Problems We Solve

Slow or Clogged Drains

Water that pools in sinks or tubs signals a growing clog. Soap scum, grease, and debris narrow the pipe until flow stops. We clear the blockage and clean the line so water drains fast again.

Grease and Food Buildup

Kitchen drains collect grease, oil, and food scraps that harden inside pipes. Store-bought chemicals rarely fix the problem and can damage older pipes. Our professional cleaning removes buildup safely and completely.

Hair and Bathroom Clogs

Hair binds with soap scum to form tough clogs in shower, tub, and bathroom sink drains. Plungers and plastic snakes only pull out part of the mass. We remove the full blockage and clean the pipe walls.

Recurring Clogs

A clog that keeps coming back points to a deeper problem such as scale, roots, or a damaged pipe. We find the real cause with camera inspection and fix it for good instead of clearing the same clog again.

Tree Roots in Drain Lines

Portland's mature trees send roots toward the moisture in drain and sewer lines. Roots enter through small cracks and grow until they block the pipe. We cut roots out and recommend repairs that keep them out.

Foul Drain Odors

Sewage smells from a drain mean trapped waste, a dry trap, or a venting problem. Our plumbers track down the source and correct it so your home smells clean again.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does drain cleaning cost in Portland?

Cost depends on which drain is affected and how severe the blockage is. Clearing a simple sink or tub clog costs less than removing roots from a main line. We inspect the problem, explain your options, and provide a written estimate before any work begins.

What are the signs I need professional drain cleaning?

Slow drainage, gurgling sounds, water backing up into other fixtures, foul odors, and clogs that keep returning all point to buildup deep in the line. If a plunger or store-bought cleaner does not solve it for good, the clog needs professional equipment.

What causes drains to clog?

Most clogs come from grease, food scraps, hair, soap scum, and items that should never go down a drain. In Portland’s older neighborhoods, tree roots and corroded pipes are also common causes. A camera inspection shows exactly what is inside your line.

Is drain clearing different from drain cleaning?

Yes. Drain clearing removes the immediate blockage so water flows again. Drain cleaning goes further by scouring buildup from the pipe walls, often with hydro jetting, which helps prevent the clog from returning. We recommend the right option after inspecting your line.

How long does drain cleaning take?

Most residential drain cleaning jobs take one to two hours. Main line blockages or heavy root intrusion can take longer. Our technician gives you a time estimate after the initial inspection.

Should I use chemical drain cleaners?

We do not recommend them. Chemical cleaners often push a clog deeper, generate heat that can damage older pipes, and create hazards for anyone who works on the drain afterward. Professional snaking and hydro jetting clear clogs without harming your plumbing.

Do you offer emergency drain services?

Yes. We offer same-day emergency drain service throughout Greater Portland for backups and severe clogs. Call 971-803-2042 and we will dispatch a licensed plumber as quickly as possible.

How can I prevent future drain clogs?

Keep grease, coffee grounds, and food scraps out of kitchen drains. Use drain screens to catch hair in bathrooms. Flush drains monthly with hot water, and schedule professional cleaning every year or two if your home has older pipes or large trees nearby.
